THE DESIGN PROCESS

Bespoke Bridal by Tale for Esther captures the soft femininity and romantic silhouettes for the ideal bride to be. Our wedding dress embodies the ethereal and dreamy aesthetic of the brand, a mixture of decadence and comfort. Each dress is custom made to perfectly fit your shape and designed to express your personality using luxurious fabrics and hand crafted details. Tale for Esther is designed and handcrafted in Los Angeles.

1. CONSULTATION:

The design process begins with one-on-one consultation with designer, Kristine. During this process, Kristine gets to know the bride and her vision. Kristine sketches ideas of different silhouettes and discuss potential fabrications, colors, details and embellishments. Then the bride is measured.

2. FABRICS/PATTERN:

While the fabrics and trims are being sourced, the Designer transforms the Bride's measurements and design into patterns. The patterns are used to create basic silhouette for a mock up dress.

3. FITTING:

During the first fitting, the bride is fitted with a "mock-up" dress made in toile or muslin. Once the bride approves the fit, silhouette and fabrications, creating the actual gown begins.

Kristine is a professional pattern maker and prides herself with handcrafted details and flawless fit. There are 3-5 fittings on a case by case basis to ensure that the gown will fit to bride's measurements perfectly.

4. FINAL:

At the final fitting, the Bride acquires her dream dress. One month before the wedding, Kristine fits with the Bride to check for last minute alterations.
